Is this really necessary? I can't recall any problems from my memory overheating. I suspect you might just as well throw $3.50 per DIMM inside your PC, although the coin may cause a short.

If you do some MAJOR FSB overclocking, it may be a problem. Otherwise don't worry about it. BTW, these may be generic, but it is a good price if you need them.
