Hi,

A year ago, I purchased 2x32 GB of Memory, Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200 MHz C16.

Now, I want to purchase another 64 GB. The prices are quite higher than last year.

I could save about 50 € purchasing 3200 MHz C16 from another brand.

I know it's not recommended, but since they're also C16 3200 MHz, shouldn't it work?
Or is it not worth the risk?

Do you think I should wait for Black Friday, Cyber Monday?

It might work, it might not. I've had some stuff play nice and other times gives random bsods. I'd wait for black friday and see what you can get.

Usually the high price sticks work together well from different manufacturers like Lenovo and Samsung memory. Corsair should be okay too. I talking business and scientific computers, not gaming, mining computers and over clocking of memory.

It will usually work, but unless you're running within very safe timings, you'll typically have to reduce the timings further below the lowest specced pair for it to be stable.
