Memory for Dell 1600n printer?

Someone once said the Dell 1600n printer takes standard pc100 memory chips. However, when I tried to put an old pc100 memory stick of mine into it, the slot was a good inch shorter then my memory chip, even though it had the same pattern as my chip. Thus it doesn't use standard pc100 memory. Anyone know exactly what type of memory it does use and where I could get some cheap other than ordering from Dell?

its pc100 sodimm. i got the same printer but i dont even think its sodimm. could be wrong.. i can take a pic later.

Dell has gone on and done something stupid with the form-factor on the 1600n's memory slot. Thankfully, I've seen the 128MB stick for a little as $37 on their website. It's bad enough that we can only get toner from Dell.

And don't do anything stupid on the web interface configuration. I haven't been able to make use of the network port since I attempted to restrict network access to 192.168.0.0.

By the way, did anyone get the new drivers that let you scan over the network? Dell apparently pulled them shortly after posting them. They haven't come back. The new engine and NIC firmware updates are still available.
