Memory for Dell 1600n printer?

Someone once said the Dell 1600n printer takes standard pc100 memory chips. However, when I tried to put an old pc100 memory stick of mine into it, the slot was a good inch shorter then my memory chip, so it doesn't use standard pc100 memory. Anyone know exactly what type of memory it does use and where I could get some cheap other than ordering from Dell?
