Memory for Core 2 duo

Hi all,
I want to try out Core 2 duo and the Intel 965 chipset.
What kind of memory do I need? 533mHz, 667mHz, 800mHz or 1066mHz?

Overclocking or not? If you aren't 533 is fine, if you are, depends on how much you want to OC..

How is this related with OCing? I thought it was supporting ddr667 and ddr800.

At stock clocks, you need PC4200 (533) DDR2.

To do any overclocking, you're going to want faster RAM. PC5300 (667) or PC6400 (800).

How does it make any sense that 667 and 800 is only for overclock? I was really sure they could work at stock. When I do a search on newegg for core 2 duo motherboards I get motherboars that claim to support both of theses speeds at stock.

You can use it if you like, but there's no benefit with 667 and very little with 800.
