memory for athlon64

since memory timing matters little in a64s, am i better off with a good overclocker (say ballistix) that's pc3200, or a generic brand at, say pc4000 or higher?

if i'm getting the concept right, the OCers @ 3200 might achieve 250mhz+, while the pc4000 generic starts off at 250mhz (i think?). what would be the difference?

thanks in advance

The OCZ PC3200 EL Platinum Rev 2 is rated for PC4000, but marked as PC3200 since it can do 2-2-2-5 timings at 3200 speeds.
