Hi.
I'm looking to canabalize my system and build what is essentially a new system from parts, but i have one question...i'm looking at an athlon xp 2100+, and an ABIT KD7-E motherboard the board says it is good for up to DDR333, but some sites have a little "ram calculator" where they find you a specific brand of ram for your mobo, and that ram always happens to be twice as expensive as what i'm looking for. here's my question. I've priced some micron ram on Newegg that seems to fit the bill...here is the item heading posted word for word
"MICRON/MICRON ORIGINAL 256MB 16X8 PC2100 DDR RAM, 184-Pin, CL=2.5-Unbuffered 2.5V Requires DDR supported Motherboard" That seems fine, right?
thanks.
