memory ? for a64

Hi All,
I am wondering if the speed of the memory really matters on a A64 rig. I'm going to buy a gig of hyperx 4300 . Does it truly matter what speed you use for a A64 machine, would 3200/3500 do just as well as 4300.
I'm now running hyperx 3000 in my 2500+ oc'ed to a 2.2 gig, would using the 4300 in that setup be benificial while I decide which 64 cpu to get
Thanks for all the input
Ed

Uh... I would advise you to stay away from the HyperX 4300 as you won't be able to get it to run at its rated speed on an A64 platform.

the ocz EB pc3700 works great on A64 boards.

get a gig of that instead 🙂

depending on what board you get, you should be able to hit insanely high HTT's (aka FSB)...

It matters a great deal. BH-5 to go with if you can find it anywhere.

I'm not sure any A64 boards deliver the voltage needed for BH-5 to actually start performing.

Why is that
