I got one for my mattress and I like it. Would actually like it better if it were thicker.

try to find out the density of it. 5lbs and up is good. the cheap stuff is like 4lb and under. for comparison tempurpedic mattress density is around 5.3 i believe.

check out memoryfoam.com too. its pretty decent.

I have a high-density 2" pad and I love it.

I also have a pillow but it's only OK.

Definitely worth it if you're not going to go out and spend serious jack for a new mattress.

The pillows are hit and miss. It does take some time to get used to the different design. But once you do give it an honest 30 day trial, you will likely really be pleased--especially if you are a side sleeper. However, many of them are poorly designed. The memory foam doesn't give much support if it is low density or if it is too warm (hot summer days for example). So it can go quite flat during those times. With the pillow I like best, it has a non-memory foam core to keep the shape and about 1.5" of memory foam around that core. With that combination it is the only pillow that has ever lasted me more than 6 months without any problems (most pillows go flat for me after a few months due to the way I sleep).

I've never tried a mattress but I'd imagine that I wouldn't like it. Memory foam really retains heat. I am almost always too hot while sleeping and that memory foam would just magnify the problem for me. I'm sure it would be quite comfortable other than the heat issue.

I have one of the curved foam pillows. It's really nice, but it gets rock-hard in the winter when it's cold.
