CostCo B&M and CostCo.com have different merchandise, if you have access to a local CostCo check them out.

If you pay anything over $600, you are getting ripped off.
I like a bed that is soft when laying down and you don't sink into when 'playing' in it.
A box and some newspaper. Why?![]()
I didn't quote you. I am sorry your parent's hate you so much.
You are where humor goes to die.
I get a Colbert icon and I think you are serious.
Colbert is serious? Damn, this world is all topsy-turvy.
From the thread linked above by RossMAN I found these:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...Y?tag=at055-20 (13" Gel Memory Foam)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...K?tag=at055-20 (10" Latex)
There were also recommendations for the Serta iComfort. But those range from $1,100 to $2,800 locally.

Queen, and it seems like you can find them for $400-$500.
I paid $250ish for one of the queen-size Costco mattresses about 2 years ago. Not sure which brand...I must say, it's a fine mattress.
Put nothing under it. Just a flat platform frame or just toss it onto the floor, if you're into that sort of thing. Box springs are one of the biggest scams out there. "Hey! I just convinced all these suckers to buy a hollow box of plywood! Muwaahahahaha!"
I've heard that the WalMart brand gets nice reviews, too. At one point, they would deliver for ~$200 total cost for a queen. I believe those had some kind of leafy oils that masked the typical foam chemical odor you get with the new mattresses.
