If so, what do you think? Is it too difficult/uncomfortable? Or is it okay/better than a normal mattress?

not on foam. memory foam doesn't provide enough support for me.

To contribute, memory foam isn't the best thing to be having sex on. Like jndietz said, I'd rather be having sex on the floor. Just my opinion though. There's only one way to find out! :D

NO mattress noise was the only difference I noticed. I have a firm one, I don't know how people can sleep on the ones you sink more than 6in into...

I wish we had a memory foam matress, but i would think with one, intercourse would be more work.

Think about it: with a regular matress, you get that extra "bounce" with the springs, so a foam would not bounce back and thus, sex would be more strenuous.

But thats a good thing. More of a work out. and I could think of a few postions where that "bounce" isn't needed... ;)

Sure, there are some, but the bounce makes it better, imho.

Nope, not lazy, and am only 22...ok, sometimes it is laziness, but more often than not, it just give it that extra "umph" to make it fun.

Mine isn't memory foam, its just regular foam but I've noticed at least one difference. When she's on top, we have to be more careful than normal to make sure she doesn't 'bottom out' because of how much her knees sink into the mattress.

I can also tell you that I've been waking up with a real bad crick in my neck the past week. Only reason I'm using this bed is to try it out and see if I'll like it. This "new" house I bought has such narrow stairs (house is pretty old) going up to the bedrooms that I couldn't fit my queen mattress and boxspring. So, I'm trying out the foam thing. I might end up going with an air bed (select comfort) because it packs down to relatively small boxes that will make it up the stairs.

do you have foam or latex?

foam sux. try the latex. it's a bit expensive (not quite as much as the memory foam stuff) but it's better than any spring mattress you'll buy.

foam is the suck. it gives no support and yes, you could get a crick sleeping on foam.

Its actually the 5in foam topper from JC Penny. I bought it with intention of putting memory foam on top of it, but I'm not sure I'm liking the foam idea any more. When it was new, it was much stiffer and I actually really liked it. Now its gotten very soft and its just not comfortable anymore. And I've only had it for about 5 months now.

Not sure how a memory foam mattress compares to a waterbed, but waterbeds are simply fantastic for sex. Personally, I used them to get support in positions that were simply not possible on a flat surface; I have always had a knack for not making them bounce and wave. Foam is probably like anything else, once you learn its strengths and weaknesses, you can tailor your style for maximum efficacy...

Won't latex build up a static charge, especially in the cold dry air of winter?

/me not wanting to be on the other end of THAT discharge
