Thanks in advance to all who respond. I've seen some issues/questions raised about memory/FSB/timings, etc. in other Forums that haven't been addressed in replies. I figured generating a discussion in this section would net some interesting results. I am admittedly new to the hardware scene, and if this discussion thread is better suited to somewhere else, please let me know.
1. What areas affect memory stability issues? I'm not asking for a cure-all of course, just some of the areas that potentially affect the stability of mulitple modules.
2. Would there normally be any stability difference between running with banks populated with DDR333 at 333Mhz as opposed to banks populated with DDR400 set to run at 333Mhz. This leads into my last question.
3. Is there an issue with chipsets that automatically adjust the clockspeed down when multiple banks are filled (i.e. the much publicized DDR400 step down) and does this affect other memory types such as DDR333.
I'm really interested in learning about general memory issues, etc. so this is why I posted here as opposed to other forums. I'm looking more for discussion as opposed to actual specific answers. I couldn't find any FAQ's that addressed this, so here I am.
