Memory dilemma

Hello,

i have an MSI K7T266 Pro2-RU Board that has support for 266 FSB... The Samsung ram is cheaper @ 512MB 2700(google gear) then a stick of Crucial 512MB 2100... If i buy the 2700 ram will it run on my system? im curious because i plan to overlock mysystem.

the samsung memory at googlegear isnt 100% samsung. I dont recommend it.
Tho if u go here samsung

U can get some TRUE Samsung memory for not much more.

To answere your question tho. YES PC2700 will work in pc2100 system.

Its sordof like buying pc133 memory but your computer only needs pc100. pc133 will still work but will run at only 100mhz fsb.

Same here. PC2700 is 166MHZ DDR. PC2100 is 133MHZ DDR.
