Memory DDR Difference?

I have a simple but maybe stupid question. Is there a big difference and waht is the difference between PC2100 and PC 2400 DIMMs?

I am building a new system and the MOB will support either. I ned to know which is the better for my system. I do not intend to overclock the system and will be using an AMD XP1800 with a Shuttle AK31a (Rev 3.1) main board. I want to put 512MB of Ram in it. I use the system mainly for business apps and schooling. I am somewhat litterate in the computing realm but just need alittle advice.

PC2100 is for 133 FSB setups (non-overclocked), while PC2400 represents 150 FSB (for overclockers).
