Is there some app that wil let me clear a section of memory?
I want to clear (corrupt) a specific section of RAM, disregarding consequences. If possible, I'd like to write data to it.
Could you show me how to do this in assembly?

Is there something like this for any OS?

It would need to be a kernel module, no userland app has that sort of access to physical memory, infact userland has no way to find out what the real physical memory addresses they're using are, just the virtual addresses. Especially now that Mac OS is based off a unix kernel.
