Memory compatibility question

I'm thinking about upgradning my 2100+ XP system to a A64 3400+ 754.
My question is, can I still use my old ram with this new system?
I have two sticks of Corsair CMX512-2700C2PT 512MB DDR333 PC2700 XMS Memory w/Silver Heat Spreader .

Yes, but it will only run (obviously) at DDR333 speeds. Unless you overclock the RAM, of course.

So the processor bus speed is independent from the memory ?
