Memory Card error

im currently using a canon ixus 75 which has been working fine for about five or six months...
and now all of a sudden the camera blinks the green light three or four times when i start up and says "memory card error" on the top of the screen. the problem is not with the camera as i found out that the 32mb card that came with the camera works fine.... the memory card is an AData 1gb card...
i also found out that this is a common problem with canon cameras.... can anyone help me save my card... i dnt need the pictures but i need the card....
PS. i don't have a memory card reader on my comp... i have to connect the camera to the computer to access the card... thanks 🙂
 
Get a card reader/writer for your computer. memory cards do fail. Have you tried to format it in the camera?
 
cant format in the camera the option is disabled... i'll see wat i can do with that reader then... wat if it doesnt work in the reader as well... if so im guessin that i'll hav to get a new card....
