Ok, so I go this error back at my comp at my apartment, now im home at my folks place ofr the holidays, I ran Ad aware, and now im getting it here, I think its registry related:

The instruction at "0xlSala83" reference memory at "0x01622c28" The memory could not be "read", click to terminate.

Im getting this thing everywhere, online, games, new and used, everywhere....wtf do I do, anyone had this, I just updated the nivdia drivers, just updated some microsoft, about to try SP2, but i dont think thats it, i think it has something to do with adaware. I think they put something in thier latest reference to identify something as delete and its spyware when its related to memory really.

PLEASE HELP, any ideas?

Welcome to the Forums :) Can you give a rundown of the hardware specs including brand/model of power supply and RAM? If it's a pre-built computer then brand & model of the whole thing is fine.

On the software side, try a free online antivirus scan from Panda Antivirus and Trend Micro and also run the Security Scan at Symantec's online scanner to see if the computer is a "visible target" to computers out on the Internet. If it is, then you need a firewall, either a hardware or software firewall or both. More info about their Internet connection (cable, DSL, do they have a router or not) and their antivirus software would help assess the possibilities here.
