Memory cannot be "read" error!

I have a BFG 6800GT OC (PCI Express) and I keep getting this error in half life2 /CS:S and farcry within 10 minutes of playing.

It wasnt so bad before and now its like ridiculous, can't even play. I tried switching drivers and it actually got worse.


BFG says they will RMA it for me but they dont have advanced RMA so I would have no card for 2 weeks 🙁


Any other possible solutions to this or did I just get a F'd card?
 
I would say that sounds normal if you wre just playing HL2/CSS, just cause many people have that problem. But including Far Cry? Soory can't help
 
i get that when i overclock and try and play doom3. try relaxing your ram timing and losing your overclock.

try resetting the video options in the games too
