Memory burn-in crashes Duron700@950

My Duron700 runs just barely stable at 950Mhz (9x105Mhz) with an idle temp of 28C, and 43C at full-load. Unfortunately, the machines crashs/reboots whenever I attempt to run a memory benchmark burn-in (sisoft). The CPU and MMX burn-in benchmark doesn't seem to bother the machine. I've got 2 Kingston PC133 ValueRam. I had to push the Vcore, and Vio to 1.85V, and 3.30V respectively.

Can anyone suggest what I might be able to try short of getting new PC133 SDRAMs to try with?

why board you got? my kt7 doesn't like to go past 103...

Yeah, I have an KT7. Had to scale back to 103Mhz FSB now. BTW, I think I didn't do a good job of of OC'ing the Duron. I can't seem to use the 0.5 step multiplier. So, I need to "redo" it again! What do I do about the "pink pad" on the HSF?

What HS/F are you using? I would remove the "pink" pad and apply some thermal grease or Arctic Silver thermal compound instead. Those pads are a one time use only and if you tend to take the heatsink off and on the pad only gets worse. Plus it sticks to the core like a b*tch. Remove the pad and sand down the heatsink till it is smooth and level.
