Memory Blahs!

Installed a pair of Corsair Twinx1024-3200 modules in dual channel configuration -Slot 1 and 3
and computer will post but not enter Windows.Changing speeds in Bios to 2-3-3-6 does not work.
Replaced Corsairs with el cheapo pair of DDR 400's and everything works!
I suspect my Corsairs are not bad but some tweaking is missing here.Am using a P-4 3.0ghz 800 FSB.
Any suggestions welcome.T

If it posts and does the memory check, I think your memory is likely not the issue. Did you do a fresh install of the OS or did you do a massive (motherboard, onboard stuff, CPU) upgrade without prepping your windows install and expect win XP to come right up after the switch ?
