Memory/Bios?

When I boot up my computer it says I have 512mb
When I run MSINFO32 it says I have 384.00 Physical Memory and 389.63 Available Physical memory.
If I go into my device manager it says I have 512 mb of ram installed...very strange eh?

Any ideas on that?

Could this be some type of bios setting or registration on the specific slot I'm using?
