Memory bandwidth issue

I just finished building a new box and as I ran the usual tests I noticed Sisoft Sandra 07 telling me that my memory through-put was about 5.5 to 6 Gb/s but reference chipset (which was an nforce 570) was closer to 7.5 Gb/s. I'm using an Asus P5N32 SLI Premium with 2 gigs of corsair DDR2-800 ram (2 sticks = dual channel). Is this something I can chalk up to sandra being a synthetic test or is this something that I need to be concerned about? I've been building systems for a few years now and I've never seen this much of a difference in that particular benchmark.

Thanks
