memory and Mobo

Thinking of getting the Gigabyte Ga-G31M ES2L for a budget build using the Intel E5200 cpu and need to know the difference in performance of either the Corsair Xms2 2Gb(2x1gb) ddr2 800 memories 1 has 4-4-4-12 timing and the other has 5-5-5-12 t1.not sure which would be better since I will not be overclocking or gaming?

Generally which one is cheaper would be the better choice since it wouldn't matter if one was better and cheaper, then go for it. Why pay more for something that under-performs?
The 4-4-4-12 however is my choice, but go with my above statement before you make the choice.

they are only about $2.00 diff. in price I just need to know the diff. for use in the MoBo? I am not sure how they effect the speed in the memory? Thanks

Probably very, very little real-world difference in performance, if any. As long as they're both compatible with your mobo, I'd go for the 4-4-4-12 timings, purely because theoretically I think they would be a little better, but honestly it probably makes virtually no difference.

Edit: See Blue Acolyte's helpful post in the memory and storage section if you want more info.
