Title says it all.
Anyone with Win2K have it and have a problem with it let me know.
I have a temporary solution (I can't find an update on Memorex site)

kyutip,

Was this an advertisement, or you just happened to notice. (IE this could be alocal thing) Price looks nice.

kyutip & DJMiX, which stores did you go to?

Thanks

I don't have the SKU.
but this is the number on my receipt (most likely UPC) 056120350
I tried to installed it on my Win2K machine.
spew out error that says can't be installed on this operating system.
box said 98/2000/OS8.6above supported.
I've email memorex about this.
no reply yet.
for now I just plug it in without software and use the .inf file.
works just fine.
btw, the CF reader looks pretty cool, unlike sandisk's boring white (but better supprot maybe)

<< what's up with win2k support? >>

Yea, thier web site seems a bit incomplete! I couldn't find anything about OS support. The copyright notices only say 1999. Product might be old, outdated...

I have downloaded that but hesitate to use it since it stated that is for PCF-100 CardMate.
while the CF reader model is UCF-200.

<< anyone else find this? >>

Nope. They had no idea they had carried a Memorex Reader, nor did I find a shelf label. Poster hasn't said where he found it either.

this item has been on clearance for at LEAST TWO MONTHS. it may not be EVERYWHERE NOW--edit: then again, they may just not have put it out on the shelves and it is sitting in the storeroom :p. if a store in your area has it, it should be in electronics, along with the COMPACTFLASH that WORKS WITH IT. tonight hopefully i will post the dpc code. with it, one can ask a knowledgeable csr (GOOD LUCK) if it's in stock
edit: last monday i bought the last one in this area--had been hiding it in various places throughout the store...

I checked our local Super Target and Normal Targets (Davenport, IA and Moline, IL), and both didn't have it. I didn't see a lick of anything memorex there, besides CD-R's. The best they had was a Sandisk CF reader for $30

I had, in fact, never seen any memorex stuff at our Targets, and while I wasn't a daily shopper, I probably went once every couple weeks...
