As some of you might already know Microsoft has a promotion going on where if you use Microsoft's Live search you can get 25% Cash Back on Ebay. The only catch is you have to wait 60 days to get the cash back (it's basically a rebate).

Anyway I purchased the Memorex Blu-ray player on ebay for $154.99 with free shipping and used Live Cash Back to get $38.75 back bringing the player to $116.24

How to get 25% Cash back:
Go here and search for blu-ray player
Click the ad on top which links to ebay
Type in Memorex Blu-ray player and sort by Buy it now and price lowest to highest.
You must use a seller that uses Paypal.

There is a seller selling the players for $154.99 and accepts paypal. That's what I did. However there is 7% sales tax for FL residents so that brought the price up for me. Still a good deal.

So anyone wanting to get in on a Blu-ray player for cheap and doesn't mind the hassle of buying through ebay and waiting 60 days to get the cash back this is a pretty good deal.

That's less than what I payed for my computer drive not to long ago. Sure beats waiting in line on bf.

Yeah, I wasn't sure about buying a Memorex but the fact that it has TrueHD and DTS-HD decoding with 5.1 analog outs made me take the risk. The base model sony and samsung players don't even have that.

The 5.1 is the main reason I'm thinking about ordering it. A few guys over at avs are saying it plays divx as well.

I followed the instructions and saw the $154.99 one but there was a seller "buy" I think was the name, who was $5 cheaper and did buy it now and paypal so I tried buying it.

Then at the last moment: "not eligible for live cashback uses third party" fund handling...

Now the $154.99 one is gone and there are only 199 ones....

In a word: "creepy." I hope it works for others, but beware, it's easy to come close to buying one that does not give cashback.
