If memory serves, Memorex discs are CMC. If they aren't, then my apologies in advance!

oh boy, you need to learn how to search. Yes, there is a difference, but most likely if you have a current burner, it can burn both.

search.

They are different formats of DVD disks. Some older players and burners have the capability to use only one or the other, but not both. A lot of more recent DVD devices don't care which format you use. Check your documentation.

Memorex are never be great quality discs, they are mediocre at best. the media code are prodisc for +R and CMC for -R. Sometimes CMC for both. You can get TY for $19.99 if you see sony +R or Fuji +R go on sale. (make sure they are made in Japan)

If you're in the market for 100, the Office Depot deal on Maxell discs is a better bet. 2x50pc spindles for $34.99. If you get Memorex, you're likely to end up with CMC discs, whereas Maxell doesn't use any CMC and has better overall reviews at videohelp...

well its a soso deal

Who is this guy?

It's a soso deal because there's a 50 spindle for $19.99 pretty much every week and Memorex uses CMC almost exclusively these days, which are among the lower quality discs. If these were Fujis which are often Taiyo Yuden discs, then I would say it's hot, but this deal is soso.
