Is the raincheck for the after rebate price of $9.99?

It has both rebates listed on it and a final price of $9.99. He said that they would give it to me for that if the rebates have expired when (if) they arrive.

:)

Just for fun, head to your local CompUSA to have them price match this offer. I bought 9 spindles from two different stores and even had them offer me alternative 4X+R's at one store (for the same price of course).

I have a handful of price matched rebates to send back to CompUSA, approximately $195. Not a bad deal at all.

Stop by your local store with the OM flyer, if they don't have the +RW as for a substitute, it worked for me :)

Just a FYI on rainchecks ... If you get one done on the kiosks , that actually triggers the delivery center to send one in your name. Obviously that won't happen until new stock arrives but atleast when it does it is reserved for you specifically. And if any rebates that were on the item are expired you get them as instant rebates.

I would be happy to help more and i used to but since the Neo incident for those that remember, there are policies against posting internal matter on web forums. I have 2 children I'm raising alone and can't afford to lose my job because some idiot prints out "a thread" to try to get his deal.

I need one of these, maybe I can ask my manager to get me a raincheck.
Hey Norton,
Way to go dude. I could not understand the thinking of the idiots that bring in the FatWally printout of the substitutions and other inside info. The more you do this, the less likely the person will get what they want. This action will piss the manager off and he will not even budge on any one else that comes after. Substitutions are solely at the manager decision and exclusively inside information.
Norton, did you know that we are offerring free shipping on ordermax on any amount until Dec. 19? Staples and our online store are doing it so we can do a pricematch should it comes to that. But I try to offer it when at least $10 involve and not a 99c transaction.

I went to CompUSA and they would only PM down to $24.99. They would not go the aditional $15 because it was a MIR and they only match IRs. How are you getting them for $9.99 from CompUSA?

Thanks.

Hey, Im brazilian, but my brother is in US on an interchange program. He told me there´s a canon A70+128mb CF card for 299.99 on a Officemax near him, and I was wondering what I have to do with these coupons to use there. Can I just print then and take the printed coupons with me(my brother..in the case), and buy the camera, or these online coupons are just accepted on online buys?
by the way, the link to the coupons: http://www.officemax.com/tp/amex100f03

Has anyone been successful in getting their raincheck fulfilled? Both local OM have been OOS with no ETA.

As posted at FW, this item may have been discontinued. I would guess that none are going to get these....but that's a guess at this point....although educated based on previous OM practices.

Good Luck.....

<--- Holds 3 rainchecks.....hopes to get them someday! :)

Called customer service at 1800... and they stated that this item has been discountinued and that there was no substitute. According to customer service the raincheck is worthless. I then stopped at the store on the way home and spoke with the manager. He pulled the DVD's up on his terminal and they are supposedly in an active status. He anticipates a delivery just doesn't know when. I guess it's back to waiting.....

I called today and they still have not restocked (if they ever will)! I am going to wait another week and check again. If unavailable I will ask the store manager for a substitution of some type. If it is true that this item has been discontinued then this is a case of either:

1) false advertising (get the customer in with a non-existant item priced cheaply; OR
2) Total incompetence on the part of Officemax management. This item was advertised on the front page of one of the most important sales flyers of the year and management failed to stock properly?

Manager placed a backorder and shipped to me. It never comes. I checked with manager yesterday, it is indeed discountinued. The manager refunded the money, let me pick one 25-Pack (whatever brand), sold me for $9.98. Very good luck to me, huge YMMV to you.
