Memmory error

I have been experiencing random blue screens of death lately so I ran memtest. It comes up with errors if both sticks are in but not if just one of them is. The timings are slightly relaxed (2.5, 3, 3, 5 vrs rated 2, 3, 2, 5) so I don't think thats the problem. Could this indicate that there is a problem with the mobo or is it the memory itself? I am using OCZ platinum DDR 400 1024mb each.

Have you tried each stick installed individually? It could be that just one stick is bad and it'll throw errors when it's installed with the other stick. If not, it's very possible the memory controller is bad on your motherboard or the chip itself if you're running an A64.

I have tested both individually. I am running a AthlonX2 3800+. I suppose I should barrow a couple of sticks from my friend to see if I get errors.

Hmm so far I get errors instantly no matter what configuration of two sticks I use. No errors so far with one stick.
That always happens when you don't give your RAM enough vdimm. OCZ specs that RAM as needing 2.8v of vdimm, when two sticks are used.
