A quick and simple question...

I have looked around in the user CP and other places and can't find this information.

Just wondering what all these membership levels mean (Diamond member, Lifer, ect.) I'm assuming it has to do with how many posts? Or are there other factors?

Thanks.

post count

on that note: +1
:D

Though ones that have "Elite Member" are not post count related, and instead, based on contribution. There is no minimum post count to reach Elite, such members just often provide a lot of help or assistance.

A few very special people have custom titles that I have no clue how they achieved them.

Almost every title though is post-count related.

That's very interesting, thanks for the info. Wish I was savy enough to be an 'elite' LOL. Maybe some day.

No sense in rambling on with this...unless somone actually knows the amount of posts it takes to acquire each level, I would find that interesting.

If this was the car insurance forum you'd be the first in line

LOL...

Guess I can't help but jump into those threads. I am lucky in that I love my career, and enjoy helping others when possible. Last thing I ever thought I would do, coming from a background of being a professional musician! Needed to make a living I guess.

Thanks!

LOL...

Yeah but I am determined. It's safe to say that I have become addicted to AT...Oh oh!

Used to come here just for technical advice, now it's becoming some sort of social outlet.

LOL

You guys forgot to mention the special privileges you get with the higher post counts, special forums (the diamond forum is hopping right now), faster downloads, keys to the lifer bathroom (Oh, I can't wait to get those).

Unfortunately, us diamond members only get peepholes into the lifer bathrooms.
