If the administration declared war on MS13 and Federal Agents were mass incarcerating gang members would there be the outcry that you see today? This is extremely poor management of resources. We don't need to be bubble wrapped to protect us. We need to have Government concentrate on real bad guys not the ones that Fox News claims are infesting US.

When you’re trying to flip the House by going after competitive districts, helping Trump by giving his base a reason to show up doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, kind of like normalizing Trump to face an easily vanquished foe in the general...worked brilliantly.

Having Cox to vote against is a good thing for CA Dems. They'll vote in droves just to kick his ass. Newsom vs Villaraigosa wouldn't pump up passions nearly so much.
