F**K, Melo is anchoring my fantasy team. I also have JR Smith and Camby AND Curry. I'm lucky it's only melo and jr.

Three guys from the same team? Bad fantasy management IMHO. Depending on the number of spots you are allowed to play, it makes for a lot of wasted benchings.
I had last pick in my league. I stole melo in the 4th round, traded felton for camby (team was light on blocks), and picked up smith off the waivers. I don't think that's bad management since I didn't draft all 3.

end of 3rd beginning of the 4th since I had last pick. 10 player league and right now melo's ranked 40th on yahoo fantasy. All he does is score, no 3 pointers, not a great rebounder, shot blocker, or average high in steals.

end of 3rd round is very reasonable for Melo, especially if you go by last season's numbers and factoring in that KMart and Nene were supposed to be huge parts of the nuggets team.

Isaiah Thomas, thankfully, will never have a job in professional basketball, in this country, again.

yeah he sucker punches a guy then runs backwards like a girl. at least stand up for yourself man!

How is it sucker punching when someone takes a swing at someone else they're jibing with face to face? When the dude crumbled like a cookie I think Melo knew he screwed up and did the right thing by backpedaling and not pummeling scrawny Jeffries too. To question Melo's toughness is rather ignorant imo.

BAHAHAHAHA did you even WATCH the video? there were two people between anthony and the guy he punched when anthony slipped around, threw a fist (actually more like an open fist) and then he just fvcking RAN the hell out of there like a fvcking pansy. he deserved the 15 games and more. clearly you're a nugget fan and biased like hell.

15 is fair. but yeah, isiah should be fined/suspended. And poor mardy, wherever he goes, the coaches are telling the team to pummel the other team. First John Chaney and now Isiah. :(

isiah makes it out unscathed. that ass.

If Anthony deserves 15 games, so does Nate Robinson and JR Smith. I still think that if Nate Robinson wasn't on the floor, JR Smith and Mardy Collins would have given each other the evil eye, maybe said something to each other, and then "waited" to be separated by other players or a ref. Robinson ran in there and made a bad situation worse, and then lots of guys decided to act like fools also.

As for Isiah Thomas, it's hard to say what he meant by "don't go to the basket". It is possible he was getting at the Nuggets big lead and that there was no need to run up the score/rub it in their face. After the game he tries to justify the hard foul by saying the Nuggets are wrong to leave their stars in with a big lead. Even if that is true, it doesn't justify an intentional, hard foul. Likely, he feels that since the hard foul was justified, the fight was entirely the fault of the Nuggets players. Thomas needs to worry about getting a competitive team on the floor, then he doesn't have to worry about 'getting upset' when other teams dominate them at home.

QFT. Keeping Thomas involved with the team gives Chicago the best chance of getting Oden.

You DO know that there were 3 nuggets players waiting for a break in the game so they could be subbed in for all the starters? Watch the video....

There is never justification for a hard foul like that. He could of fouled the guy before he even went up to the basket.

I don't know why Collins didn't just try to block the shot ... he was close enough that he could have just gone for a big block. He would have been called for a foul anyway, but then it wouldn't have looked like the intentional takedown it was.

that's the question, did isiah tell him to do it?
