Dude I haven't had my head buried in the sand all these years. My best friend thinks I'm crazy because I don't find Monty Python funny. Like I said, humor is subjective. I don't expect many to agree with me because if they did Monty Python wouldn't be as popular as they are.

Anyone who picks his handle based upon Red Dawn, the worst movie ever made, or if it wasn't the movie, but the surprise that a young girl finds in her panties when she wakes up to find that she has started her period, isn't a credible critic of anything.

With all due respect to fans of english humor, some Monty Python is good but I have to agree with Red on this one. Mel Brooks is terrific.

When I pick up a comedy, I want to be able to laugh, not to have to read some sort of guide book in order to "get" whatever the heck it is that I'm supposed to be laughing at 🙂
 
I give Mel Brooks "thebest" rating.

I like Monty Python also but you have to be in the right mood to watch them where Mel just gets funnier each time you see one of his movies.
