All this nonsense about army versus people etc etc is just that, nonsense. Verdicts should not depend on what people in a certain community might think of the verdict. Rioters and looted are not some organized insurgency, they are just criminals taking advantage of an event and community anger to steal and destroy. If people riot, oh well, arrest as many as possible while maintaining the safety of those not involved as much as possible.

I think the verdict probably makes sense. That's exactly what the involuntary manslaughter charge is supposed to be for, situations where you did something you should not have, ended up killing someone in the process, yet didn't ever intend to kill someone.

When a black is killed by cops why does so much of the black community assume it was race based? In any case, we've all seen the video and now we have a jury verdict, so it was not deliberate.

And OJ was innocent, right?

I haven't (and won't) watch the videos, but I can't imagine voting for any less than involuntary manslaughter. When one is allowed to carry potentially lethal tools (including Tasers) one has a responsibility to be proficient in those tools. A Taser has a completely different feel and different controls than a handgun, and even a BART cop has the responsibility to know the difference before pulling the trigger. I'd have to read the law and watch the videos to guess if I would have held out for more, but involuntary manslaughter seems pretty light to me. I'm losing my tolerance for people who say "Yes I pointed the gun, and yes, I shot him/her. but I never meant to shoot." This seems to be even worse, the guy's defense is that he literally didn't know what he was holding. But admittedly I haven't watched the video.

Man please, he is an outsider, he wants to be President and he knows as long as the old boys network is still intact it ain't gonna happen. Arnold would make a pact and sell you out.

Have you even read the Constitution? Apparently not.

You're the one who advocated bombing Texas, so you have no ground to stand on, as usual.

Here craig, you can fill it out for yourself...
