Thats why unverified password changes should never be made.
It's ridiculous that fusetalk still does it this way.

Here's how it should work:
user forgets password
user clicks "i forgot my password" link
user typs in email address
email is sent to user with a hashed id and link
user clicks link, which verifies that it is in fact them
link prompts user to choose a new password

Same goes for the registration process.
i don't want some random asdfl;kj password when i register, and i don't want to change it on my first time logging in.
have an activation field in the database to verify the email address
