I think a lot of this argument comes from a statement like yours. Claiming you have a "higher standard" and her being a "girl" implies some condescension. You're essentially saying that your taste is better, or more accurate. Personally, I don't like a lot of make up on a woman either, but that's my preference. I could understand someone saying that Megan Fox isn't his or her type, or not his or her ideal woman.. but to claim that she's not attractive.. again, is absurd.
