i was very impressed by godsmacks frontman sully. i bought the godsmack changes dvd and there's about a 7 minute drum duo between sully and their regular drummer, it's amazing.

When I saw them in Buffalo with Metallica, Sully and the drummer had a 10-minute drum duel, and it blew my mind. I have to say, I think Sully is a btter drummer than Lars. His double bass speed was phenominal, and some of the grooves he played were just sick. That little duel was easily the best part of the concert, and probably the best part of any concert I've seen.

I'll give you Buddy Rich. The rest I would argue. Are they gifted lyricists too?Originally posted by: SWScorch
What about Buddy Rich, Virgil Donati, Terry Bozzio, Mike Portnoy? I'd say they're all up there at the same level of Peart.Originally posted by: Vic
