I'll stick with my $2.50 Big Carl. Sometimes to change it up I'll get two spicy chicken sandwhiches and a fry for $3.50. If I'm at wendy's i'll get two jr bacon cheeseburgers and a fry for $3.00

big carl is fucking awesome

This thread is confusing the hell out of me. From where did you acquire that burger?

He went to the golden arches.
Ordered 2 double chz burgers on sesame seed buns and a side salad with Mac Sauce dressing.
With their powers combined, Mega Mac Gourmet was born.

meh... i'll stick with GoodTimes.

Better burger and ice cream that's > *

Never heard of them so they're not a national chain so not even comparable. I always love that people here seem fit to compare national or international chains to a local burger joint.

GoodTimes is a regional chain.

They have locations primarlily in Colorado, but also in Idaho, North Dakota and Wyoming. I dont give a shit if you've never heard of them... they're a competetor to McDonalds as far as Fast Food goes, and their food is 10,000x tastier.

Yeah and I could buy an innout double double for about the same price across the street where my local Mcdeez is at.

Variety FTW.

Do you guys really get diarrhea from eating fast food once? Sounds like an exaggeration or a bunch of pansies. None of my friends or family ever rejects going to Taco Bell or similar places and they eat the food just fine. I don't think I've had any more problems with fast food than I have with regular restaurants or homemade food.
MMMMM OH JEEZ FAST FOOD MAKES ME GO POTTY

Yeah I've never seen anyone I know have that reaction either, but I went to eat with my manager a couple weeks ago to Taco Bell and he fucking farted constantly the rest of the afternoon. Goddamn STANK. He was sitting next to me at work and at one point I got up and said "Dude I gotta get away from you for a minute, that fucking stinks". D:

the prices have really shot up for fast food. we went to wendy's (me, my wife and 2 kids) and it came to $35. WTF for that i will go to somewhere good.

You absolutely have to be making that shit up, or you live in Hawaii where everything has a 100% markup. There's no possible way you spent $35 for two adults and two children unless you all got the most expensive combo (the triple burger at Wendy's) and made it a large sized, which is a literal shit-ton of food.

Personally, I eat out WAY too much, but it's too damn convenient for me. But I hardly ever get a combo unless it's $5 or less. Most of the time I pick and choose from the dollar menus and never spend more than $4.

While they're not national (yet), they're bigger than just a single local burger place. It's a Colorado company though, so anybody from CO seems them everywhere and usually forgets how limited they still are.

I have faith though that they'll get bigger... there's been a couple CO places that got pretty big:
-Rock Bottom Brewery/restaurant
-Old Chicago (part of Rock Bottom)
-Chipotle

awesome. i love fast food threads. keep it going, and keep the custom order talk going.

never tried a Ghetto mac or the OP's concoction... i am very intrigued!

+1 for fast food costing too much these days. $8 for a combo is some BULLSHIT. i usually stick to the value menus.

tried an Angry Whopper a couple weeks back... hated it. blech

there's a restaurant (small chain) around here that does Monster Macs... it's essentially a supersized Big Mac with better ingredients. epic burger. craving one BAD... this thread made me insanely hungry

Canadian Taco Bells recently revamped their menu and got rid of the Cheesy Fiesta potatoes and the 1/2 lb beef and bean burritos 🙁 that combo with a water to drink was around $3.38... a great bargain. i ordered it so much that they took it off the damn menu 🙁

oh and i'll be using some of my homegrown jalapenos in my new burger patties at home. going to try diced jaleps, diced onions and cheddar inside the patties. home burgers rock. i do love greasy fast food (esp Wendys doubles) but home burgers are EPIC.
