Dennis Quaid's best role was early in his career in that bike racing movie about the underdog team that beat all the preppies college kids.

Or was that Kevin Costner?

In my opinion, a lot of stars put more into their performance when they were young and intense. Dennis seems to be one that survived as an actor by his name, and not his work.
Jon Voight's another one that exemplifies my point.

The Right Stuff would be another one that I liked Dennis's performance.

I hope none of you here would camp out all night the eve of the Oscar awards just to catch a glimpse of your favorite star the next day. Thats so disgusting.
