Her and Dennis Quaid were the hollywood couple that actually gave me hope that it was possible btw movie stars. But she runs off with Russell Crowe now? Supposedly he is devestated, and I would be too. What a croch!!! BAHHHHHHH!!!

This topic is too De javu (sp?) for me so I won't comment any further than to say it's a sucky situation but life has to go on.

Bobby -- if you're looking to Hollywood for any kind of hope, you'd be better off just renting a movie... You'd be more satisfied, unless you rent "Good Burger."

I lost all my hope for the fast food industry after I saw it.

Below is something I read elsewhere, take it with a grain of salt --

Ryan may have heard rumors about Quaid tomcattin' on the set of Oliver Stone's "Any Given Sunday."

Several women hired as extras on the football flick complained that Quaid pawed them, next week's People magazine will report.

"They said he was very aggressive, touching them and grabbing their butts," says a source on the Texas set. One alleged object of his desire was 21-year-old college student Cara Kinder, who played a cheerleader. Kinder says she turned down several invitations from Quaid to visit his hotel room.

About two weeks into filming, Kinder says, she accepted a ride on Quaid's golf cart. At a secluded spot, "he pulled me out of the cart and into the rest room and started kissing me," she claims. "I was freaking out, thinking, 'I can't believe he's doing this and he's married.' I said, 'We better get back,' and he agreed."

Quaid insists that the woman's account is "completely untrue. I categorically deny it."

Our sources say Ryan took up with Crowe only after she and Quaid agreed to separate. One friend believes her wild-man co-star in the forthcoming "Proof of Life" is just a fling: "She's smart enough not to get into a relationship with Russell Crowe. But he may have showered her with the kind of intellectual attention that made her realize her marriage was lacking."

why does anyone care what these people do? I can guarantee that Meg Ryan doesn't give a crap what happens to your marriage, why should you care what happens to her's?

I always get annoyed by hollywood fluff crap and butt kissing that channels like E! promote.

It's all garbage.

Well, at least it's good to know that death is the great equalizer. They may be famous now, but celebrities die just like everyone else, and dead men are all equal.

Sorry to wonder off topic here, but did I miss something. Why do Crowe have the 'bad boy' image?

As far as what is happening. It doesn't surprise me, you have an industry that is pretty much built on looks and appeal, you are taking groups of people from this industry and putting them together in close quarters, pretty much isolated from the rest of the world while they make these movies....yeah, like a marriage is going to survive that kind of pressure......it would be a rare one indeed. Or more likely one where one or both partners just ignore the indescresions of the other......

So none of you have a problem with Meg's infidelity? After all, she is still married, right? She could've at least waited until they were divorced!

I guess it just goes to show you how screwed up Hollywood really is...

people they are human! just because they make movies and they are "stars" doesnt make them much different than anyone else... thats the one of the major problems, a lot of people automatically assume that movie star = role model

well it does not, hell, i rather look up to my calculus prof or to the lady that comes in every night to clean out my office than to anyone in show biz.

Hmm i thought russell crowe liked jodie foster? Oh well anywaz, meg ryan is cute. she is a bit old now. anywaz, hmmm although dennis quaid denies it, why would suddenly, ALL OF the female extras all turn against him. I mean you might cite publicity, but i dunno. i think there is some truth to it.

Hey Red, you got your movies mixed up there buddy :)

Kilmer played Doc Holiday in Tombstone. I don't know where Quaid played that character; never caught that one. I own Tombstone though and it's one of my favorite modern westerns, right behind Unforgiven.

I see we share the same opinion on CyberSax's tastes as well.

Red,

Costner's was "Wyatt Earp."

And Kilmer gives me frickin' chills as Holliday . . . ! :D

Why Johnny Ringo, you look like someone just walked over your grave.

Dennis Quaid was brilliant in The Right Stuff. As for infidelity, it varies between people off course. I was still faithful to my ex-wife 4 1/2 years after the divorce was pronounced.

Meg Ryan used to be really cute. I personally don't think she has aged well. And I am not suprised that yet another Hollywood marriage is disintegrating.

On a side note, Val Kilmer was absolutely spectacular as Doc Holiday. Quaid was good, but he didn't bring as much personality to the role.

Val Kilmer absolutely killed as Doc. Such a great character and portrayal.

Meg Ryan would get a free hot dog any day of the week from me.
