It's just the economy....

Keep lying to yourself if it makes you feel good, but it is FAR more than just the economy.

The economy sucked in 1982 and the Republicans only lost 26 seats. In 1980 they had won 34 seats so even after 1982 they had more seats than per 1980.

The Democrats are about to lose all the seats they have won in the last two elections and then some.

It is FAR more than just the economy.

It's also the stupid.

No, but everyone who thinks GOP is better is.

Don't you know that everything was going swimmingly well until the Democrats got control of congress in 2006. Denile is a river in Egypt.

You're correct, What Obama, Reid, and Pelosi did in the last 2 years was stupid. Now comes their just desserts.

Obama is not going anywhere. GOP win helps him for 2012. That's 2 years for them to demonstrate they have no new ideas, just the ones that got us here.

how can you simultaneously say that no tea partiers are being elected while also spamming about your concerns over the tea party's agenda?

Just let the idiot rant. It's the only thing he has in his sad, pathetic, useless life as a Democrat shill.

New Republican house = repeal healthcare.

that is all they are going to try and do.

And all the while, the economy will be ignored. Republicans don't care about the economy.

They only care about getting Obama edit: as evidenced in this thread.

Keep talking. Wait until Tuesday, you will be one sad man.

I'm a realist (that's why I'm a liberal) so I know what's coming. Who are you going to be pissed at and blame in 2012 when things are worse than ever?

Anyone that really thinks Obama is on the "left" of the democratic team is severely ignorant. If he was, the healthcare bill would have been drastically different.

Umm... God you guys are something else.

Bush didn't run off and hide. That's just a stupid comment. I'm no Bush fan but really? Are you that petty to make a statement like that?

Blaming this massive defeat on the economy is hysterical on many levels. The best way to look at it is to simply note that the D's have had congress for four years and the presidency for almost two. They have had plenty of opportunity to fix things and all they've managed to do is fuck it up even worse than it was before. That takes real talent.

It's not about the economy. It's about how the economy has been even more woefuly mismanaged than when the Rs were in control. All those people looking for change in '06 and '08 are finally realizing that sometimes you just have to suck it up and deal with the devil you know... the lesser of two evils... the smartest retard... however you want to say it.

OK, fair enough. He was either told to STFU and stay out of view by his bosses, or he chose to lead a quiet life in ignominy. So, he didn't hide...rather he was hid, or he chose to....be quiet in his retirement....which is about the same thing as......oops.:p

We shall see. If Obama's smart he will move to the center.

He is there already. If GOP is smart, they'll join him.

then why is he still blaming the GOP for all his problems.

He, Pelosi and Reid stated on 9 Nov that they did not need the GOP to get their agenda through.

Looks like the agenda that they pushed through is not working.
And can they convince the American public that it is the GOPs fault.

God, I love these posts. The OP is one of the most narrow minded, tunnel-visioned posters I think I've ever seen.

OP, instead of posting about our "new" Republican "overlords" why not start a thread about the Democrat's failure at working with the Republicans during the last two years. Obamacare will eventually be repealed but not until after it has done a considerable amount of collateral damage to the Democratic party. Obamacare was pushed on a majority of Americans WHO DID NOT WANT IT.

- An AMERICAN who voted for change (Obama) in 2008 ... and got robbed!

Obama headed of another Great Depression and has been hugely successful in stabilizing the economy.
If he were a Republican than his party would be up 20 percent in the polls. Fox News and Rush and O'Really would have entire days devoted to the question of Obama-Great President or Greatest President?

I don't know if the stimulus worked at all. . It sure doesn't help when we gave banks billions in stimulus and they shipped tons of money to banks overseas or handed it out in bonuses.

But the rest of your post is dead on. If Bush could have had another term in office, he would have done most everything that obama has done and he would be praised for alot of it.
