Mediterranean For the Honeymoon

Ok, so the fiancee and I are thinking of the Mediterranean for the 2 week honeymoon in July. Anyone know what the weather will be like, the best places to go, or the best way to travel around there(Cruise, bus, train)?

We'd like to hit the beaches, snorkel, etc.; site seeing, good places to eat, and of course the lady would like to go shopping. Your help is appreciated.

I'm also getting Married in July, and My fiance and I are also thinking of going to the mediterranean. (week long cruise)

hopefully the cruise will take us every where we want to go and make sure we see the good sights.
 
does anyone have any links to cruise ships that specialize in this? i'd be VERY interested in taking a cruise to the med and then staying there for a bit...sounds mad expensive, though.
