Mediocre movies that you like a lot

So I'm sittin here warching 50 First Dates... i dunno what it is about this movie that I like so much, b/c there's nothing really special about it. I think it's the following reasons:

- Its set in Hawaii, a place I love and would like to live someday for a year or so
- I can kinda sort of relate to her injury b/c I was in a major accident and have no memory of the first 2 weeks I was in the ICU.
- I love the soundtrack

So yeah, what're some movies you guys really like even though the movie itself was less than stellar?

The problem with that movie was everything between the songs. And also the songs.

I liked Crank a lot. I thought the plot was amazing: guy injected with poison; now guy has to do non-stop crazy shit to stay alive. It sorta reminded me of a session of GTA where everything just sort of builds up on you until you end up driving a tank off a cliff into a helicopter. Plus he dies in the end, which is awesome.
 
I don't care what the critics said about it, or even the millions of people who hated it. I enjoyed Water World. It was a bad movie, but something about it I found myself enjoying it.

Yeah, I liked that movie as well.

The Core (which scientifically is just horrible, but isn't the point of a movie to take you away from reality? I enjoy this movie for the premise of it, not the accuracy of the science involved)
 
I really like Independence Day despite everyone saying how horrible it was... It's a movie I can watch again and again.
 
I rather enjoyed more popish movies like Armaggedon (sp), MIB1 (Just saw it on Hulu the other day), and I also love 90s teen movies as I get nostalgic like She's All That.

I also LOVE 50 First Dates, great soundtrack, cute movie... yea, it is hawaii and makes me wish I was back.

Others that i really enjoy... Vegas Vacation, The Wedding Planner, What About Bob, Wedding Singer.... there are more.
