media player errors

I'm getting an usual error with 2 media players.

With sasami2k I get the following error sometimes:

"unexpected error (a win32 api function failed"

with zoomplayer I get the following error sometimes:

"call to an OS function failed"

what can I do?

Hmn...the players are saying the same thing - "the OS stuffed up"

The players are calling a function in the OS (eg. output sound, decode somthing, etc) and the function is either missing or is stuffed up.

What type of file are you trying to play?

Try playing a wide variety of file formats...mp3, wav, mpg, divx, au, etc....and see which formats (if not all) cause the problem...
