Media/NAS/switch home network products

Hi I am after some advice for products/solutions I might buy to setup up my home network with all the things I need.

I have a BT Infinity home hub wireless router in my office. I have 10 CAT5 connections to various points around my house all meeting in the office. I have a CAT5 connection to my solar inverter to monitor the system in the office. A wired/wireless printer based in the office.

I would like to add a NAS to stream music/films & share files and maybe a media box that could pass TV to other places in the house via the CAT5 connections. The BT router only has 4 connection ports, therefore is not enough to supply all my CAT5 connections, and would be probably better off just being used as internet connection.

I really want to avoid having lots of different boxes and having many items powered up all the time. Maybe changing from BT would help? Of course I also have a limited budget. All suggestions welcome and thanks in advance.
