Media files playing incorrectly - 7600 GT

I recently bought a new computer and got a XFX 7600 GT XXX PCI-E card to use. It is installed and working properly for games and such.

However, I have noticed that my media files do not play correctly now. I usually watch movie files through Windows Media Player. The video plays too slow but the audio plays at regular speed. Basically, if you watch 10 minutes of video, the audio gets ahead by quite a bit, probably over a minute.

I have tried watching video files through Nero's player as well, so I don't think it is a Win Media Player issue. Can anyone help???

How can I fix a sync problem? And you're talking about my vid card driver, right? I really think it has nothing to do with the video drivers, but I'll try anything.

So, it does it with any type of media file?

I have the same card, and using the latest official drivers have no issues with any of the players I've tried. Start with the drivers and go from there.
