Isn't lack of HDCP certification going kill all the current products as Vista etc. finally rolls out?

I'm sure there will be some kind of workaround or product that solves the problem. There's no way Microsoft is just going to sit around and do nothing with how well Media Center Edition is doing. I'm sure we'll be seeing PCI CableCards and HDCP HDMI/DVI video cards out soon. They've already got HD-DVD running apparently:

This is a nice case -- using it for my main system upstairs. The PSU is pretty quiet. My only problem with it is cable management can be an issue because of the distances involved -- I have a card reader and fan controller installed in one of the 5.25" bays, and it's quite a distance from the fans in the back. Also, if you put a noisy video card in it, it's noisy! 🙂

I bought mine from Geeks when they had free shipping -- saved $20 from their normal shipping cost!

Any idea what the range on that keyboard/mouse combo is?

I've had trouble finding one that'll let me sit back on my sofa and use the PC. The one I have (gyration combo set) sucks for gaming 🙂

I'm using a Logitech LX500, and both the mouse and keyboard work from the couch (about 8-9 feet, maybe). I've not had any range problems with that combo.

I'm not sure what the range is, but it's pretty good. I use the MS 6000 desktop with my Xbox for FPS gaming and I've sat back about 15' and it still works well. My living room isn't any bigger than that, so I can't tell you how far it *really* goes. Gryration is good for regular HTPC stuff but definately not for gaming, I set one of those up a year or two ago for a friend and discovered that too 😉

I wish I had an mATX system...

Newegg has combos with an Athlon 64 plus an mATX motherboard for like $99 😉 Unless you're doing some crazy stuff, a single-core 2.4ghz processor should be plenty!
