I'm not (nor do I recall ever) having problems skipping forward when playing something encoded with DIVX. Dont think there is a need for a patch here.
So the problem you're having is that you cannot move forward on the time line when playing a divx movie (presumably avi)? Can you skip forward while playing that same movie file in WMP?
What about recorded TV (MS-DVR files)?Correct, I can't move forward on avi's or mpg or even mp3 for that matter. I don't have any wmp files currently to test those out.
Right, just checking to see if WMP could scrub the timeline since (as I understand it) MCE uses WMP for playback. It skips forward fine if I use Windows Media Player but this build is for a client who doesn't know a whole lot about computers so I don't want them to exit out of Media Center to watch videos and listen to mp3s
Can you scrub forward on the timeline in MCE using the mouse?Am I using the right button in trying to skip forward?
