Ok here is the deal. Me and my roommate have purchased this game MOHAA, super fun, and we are attempting to play it on-line. We have been able to play Diablo II LOD on-line without a problem. What happens when we try to play MOHAA on the same server is the person that was on first gets disconnected. But when we are playing on different servers it works fine. Any ideas on some settings changes on my router? Or is what I want to do impossible?
Thanks,
Chucu

P.S. it is a Linksys Router I believe it is befsr41

What is happening is the server you are connecting to sees your External IP address...Say IP: 1.2.3.4

When the second person connects, the game server says "Wait...you are already here. with IP 1.2.3.4...let me kick that other connection as it is dead or not usable....

This is the side-effect of some servers, if it only accepts one connection per IP then you arent going to do much about it.

Thanks but I knew that was what was happening. I was interested in knowing if there was some sort of workaround. Like I said Before Diablo II LOD had no problems with both of us in the same game at the same time from the same IP.

Not much experience in this department, but have you looked into port forwarding? perhaps on a session by session basis (if able)...

I had the same problem yesterday. If the second computer connects as join a lan game and you are hosting it will work
