I just played the demo and I was impressed. Mechwarrior 2 was awesome, 3 sucked, this one is the best. I bought it from shop.microsoft.com/thankyou/gift2.htm for $30.

I love my T3, just downloaded the demo, about 67MB, in about 3 min. I sitll think that MechWarrior 2 is one of the best games ever made. I think it still looks good and it's great fun, i just hope 4 follows in the same tradition.

make sure you have directx8, what suprised me was Mechwarrior 3 ran hella slow on my celeron 533/voodoo3 but mechwarrior 4 runs silky and on top of that the graphics are much better...the explosions are awesome, blue light bursts out of dead mechs. It's a little more arcade this time compared with Mech2 which was a really good simulation. And that sexy female computer voice doesn't speak a lot in this version.
